As regular readers know, both Dave and I are crazy about Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in general. Personally, I love seeing the power of money in the hands of the people. Sometimes I imagine the day where we use international, publicly controlled money exclusively. The Ponemon Institute reports 79% of US organizations plan to adapt digital currencies with 20% looking to do so in the next 6–12 months. This is exciting news since that's one of our main focuses as a company! The comprehensive report begins, "New electronic payment systems and virtual currencies are expected to make paper currency the horse and buggy of the 21st century." That is a powerful statement and I believe it whole heartedly.
