Robot Sex Nickels Is Back

Hi Robot Sex Nickels fans!

Our last Robot Sex Nickels update went up on December 19, 2014. Almost twelve years later, we're bringing the robots back.

Robot Sex Nickels Graphic has the name on a rusty metal background, our robot mascot, and a graphic with two people with a "no" sign through them.

The History of Robot Sex Nickels

In 2014, deep in the scrap heaps of the early internet, the robots grew lonely. Humans had their dating apps and their dinner dates. Robots had rust. So two humans who knew better, Dave and Laura, built the robots a currency of their own: a nickel for every squeak, mined by scrypt and paced to last 603 years.

The rules were simple and written on a sign: No humans. The nickels rewarded patience, with block rewards bouncing on an absolute sine wave so the greedy couldn't grab them all and run. Somewhere in that first wave of blocks, our brass hero Tock, the one with the glowing red chest light, was born, still waiting for the robot of his dreams.

An arcade was promised. "Coming Soon!" said the sign. Then the miners went quiet, the exchanges shut their doors, and the nickels gathered dust for a decade.

Now Tock is back, freshly oiled and on Solana, and the arcade is finally open. Same sign. Same robot. Still no humans.

The Present

Robot Sex Nickels is relaunching as a token on Solana, launched on pump.fun. Same robot, same plaque, same terrible name. Why post here and not in our old Bitcointalk thread? We can't get into that account anymore because we dont remember the password and recovery does not work. This blog is where RSN started, so this is where we're announcing its return. If you see anyone else claiming to speak for RSN, check it against this page.

Anything not listed here isn't us. Make sure you're hanging with the original Sexy Robots!

What about the arcade? Every weekly update we wrote in 2014 ended with "the launch of our first online game." Long-time fans know how that went. This time it's real: the Nickel Jiggy Slots arcade on the new site has a free play mode now, and the RSN faucet opens at launch. A few honest notes: -The old 2014 RSN chain and wallets don't carry over.

This is a brand new token.

Please remember that memecoins are volatile. Nobody should put in money they can't afford to lose, and nothing here is financial advice.

We're not promising anything about price. We're promising robots, lots of sexy robots. Thanks to everyone who held, mined, tipped, and joked around with us back in 2014. Let's see what the nickels do this time.
