Novum is a German magazine that's been around since 1924. Their special self promotion issue from this summer features this amazing illustration from Foxtrot Studio. Look at the way the dots and swirls integrate into the background - simply gorgeous.
Julide Belen is a talented letterer and designer in every right, but her quilling work simply blows me away. I love that she takes this Renaissance era technique and creates completely modern, clean pieces. Her 2016 quilled numbers are for a graduation program, but I think they are perfect to celebrate the end of 2015 and the beginning of a fresh year. Awesomely, she shares in progress shots over on her Instagram if you're into that.
